Collection includes: scrapbook kept by De Peyster (1849-1854) of state militia acts, rules, regulations, forms, clippings related to the militia, and a few hand-drawn illustrations of uniforms and insignia, all extensively annotated; and an account and minute book (1850-1857) kept by De Peyster while a Brig. Gen. for the 21st Regiment, under Col. Wm. P. Wainwright, and the 22nd Regiment, under Col. Joseph Wright, including minutes of the auditing boards and correspondence related to accounts.
